About Vande Mataram Memorial
The Vande Mataram Memorial at Bhujodi is a modern tribute to India's independence movement. Its landscaped campus recreates iconic scenes from the freedom struggle — from the Jallianwala Bagh memorial to Dandi March imagery — and its central 417-foot flagpole flies one of India's largest tricolours.
The museum inside uses immersive exhibits and light-and-sound storytelling, making it popular with families. It sits beside the weavers' village of Bhujodi, so you can combine history with a look at Kutch's famous handloom weaving in one trip.
