Kadiya Dhro River Canyon

Kadiya Dhro is one of Kutch's newest discoveries for travellers — a river canyon with striking white and red stratified cliffs, sculpted over centuries by seasonal monsoon waters. The contrast of flowing water, white sand and coloured rock feels almost otherworldly.

The canyon is at its best shortly after the monsoon when the river still runs. It lies off the usual tourist circuit, so pairing it with nearby Nirona village makes a perfect offbeat half-day or full-day trip from Bhuj.
